What is the Social Room?

The Social Room is a light, cosy space designed for small groups who want to meet, talk, share ideas or enjoy time together in arelaxed environment.

It’s not a corporate conference room or an events venue —it’s a friendly, well-prepared space where people can settle in, feel comfortable and focus on what matters.

What’s included with hire

Everything is set up to make your time easy and enjoyable.

Social Room hire includes:

  • Space for 6–12 people
  • Daytime & Evening hire only
  • Arrival drinks and refreshments
  • Use of china tea sets, water jugs and glasses
  • Two large tables with seating for up to 12 plus a high table with an extra 3-4 High chairs (see Pic) and outdoor seating
  • On-site parking
  • A peaceful canal-side setting

The CakeSmith team are happy to be on hand to serve arrival drinks and help things run smoothly.
